OWNED BY JOHN LINDSAY
Start with a 86 GT. Has 100,000 miles, nice inside and out. Options: A/C, Power windows, door locks and mirrors, cruse, pulse wipers, tilt wheel, sun roof, automatic trans., and no tail wing. It looks better with out it! total wait 2800 pounds Remove the engine and trans. with the cradle. Sold the engine for $300.
The engine is 87 buick front wheel drive (7th digit in the vin is ''3'') it bolts right up to the 125 trans. The crank, rods are stock. Crank has rolled fillits, rods same part number as the turbo rods. JE pistons for the turbo aplacation (stock turbo pistons will fit too). The front 3 main caps were replaced with 3800 series II seal caps (I had them from a junked engine). Any after maket will work. The block was line bord and decked. I used studs on mains and heads with factory turbo head gaskets. Cam is the stock roller regound too 210/210 by Postons with stock roller lifters. 8 bolt Champion alumium heads instaled with stock rokers and safts.
It's not that bad to work on. I removed the engine then removed the trans. and sent it too Jim's performance transmissions Eaton Rapids, MI. for the build up. He specialize in build ups for the V8 fieros.  The rebild const of 3500 stall conveter wider band and more cluchs. final drive rashio 3.33. With the trans. out I put a dummy one in to make the front mounts.
Other parts used: TE63E turbo, 2 stock intercoolers welded together and used with the A/C.
