will not sell tapes. This rule is set in stone so don't bother asking.
Additionally, I only trade for game tapes. Trading for blanks is not an option I consider. However, I do attempt to upgrade the quality of some tapes, so I would consider trading for a game already on my list depending on the quality.
I am not meaning to come across as a hard @ss, but given limited free time for dubbing; the time involved in dubbing; wear and tear on tapes and equipment, trading for blanks just doesn't add up. Sorry.
A couple points regarding trades:
1) I will try and do everything I can to fit the entire game on a tape
(or tapes) at SP, I expect the same, unless previously agreed upon while setting
up the trade. ... If you don't intend to dub my games at SP, then say so that way I don't waste money buying T-160s, T-180s or T-200s, and don't waste time making sure your games fit on a tape at SP.
2) I am looking for games that I can enjoy so there are 2 critical
issues.... A) I HATE EDITING OF HUDDLES, THERE IS NOTHING
WORSE IN MY OPINION (this includes editing out replays; I also prefer leaving timeouts in the tape.) Edited huddles basically RUINS any game in my opinion!!!!!!!! and B) I am looking for complete games, if portions
are missing please let me know in advance and I can pick a different game.
3) Be upfront about any of those issues. It's better to communicate such
issues, as well as the quality, in advance and develop a good trading
relationship and reputation rather than complete a trade that leaves either you
or me disappointed. I'd rather undersell a game and have you pleasantly
surprised that it was actually better quality that I stated, then have either
party think they are getting a "A" grade tape that is closer to a "C".
4) I will try and be straightforward on these issues and others, and I
expect the same.
