XENOGEARS
| Description | Fei is a man with a mysterious past. He never wanted to fight, but he keeps on getting forced into it to protect and help out his friends. Xenogears has a battle system in which you can input multiple commands to do a combo attack. You can also get into mecha, known as gears, and do combo attacks with them. There are also voices, but they are only available in very bad dubs. |
| Plot 8/10 | The plot is complicated and deep--- there is a lot of time spent just to explain the story. |
| Characters 8/10 | The characters are well-developed, but they're not all that different when compared to, say, Final Fantasy IX |
| Fun Factor 7/10 | The battle system is a ton of fun. You also get to play Speed! However, you spend way too much time doing one part of the story or listening to people talk about the story for Xenogears to be as fun as it could have been. |
| Gameplay 8/10 | I've described the battle system above, and I just have to say again, I like it! One problem I have with the gameplay though is that you can't always turn the camera to where you want it to be. |
| Replayability 6/10 | There are secrets for you to get, but that's pretty much it. |
| Graphics 8/10 | It's one of the older Playstation games, so it's no surprise that the 3-D graphics aren't all that great. There are anime cutscenes, which are fantastic. |
| Music 6/10 | The music is nothing special, but it's certainly not unbearable. |
| Sex Object Factor 7/10 | I really like Fei ^_^ Bart is also popular... Then, of the girls, some people are attracted to Elly. |
| Cutesy Factor 5/10 | There are cute things scattered around the game, but they aren't very prominent. |
