Summary | Before the events of the TV series, Lina adventures with her friend/companion/rival Naga. They discover an evil threatening the island they're on, and Lina accepts a deal to travel back in time to defeat it for a prize of money and a spring of growth. Genre: comedy/fantasy. |
Plot | A great plot that goes kinda crazy, just like we'd expect from The Slayers! |
Characters | We only have Lina and Naga here -_-. And Naga's kind of annoying. On the other hand, she's still funny, and we do have Lina! |
Humor | The humor is so good that it's the best part of the anime! |
Animation | Below average, but it doesn't really detract from the overall experience. |
Music | Hayashibara Megumi sings the intro and endings- what could be better? |
Japanese voices and subtitles | They all fit so well. I especially love Lina's voice. |
Dubbed voices | Lina's voice is terrible. |
Bishounen factor | Not in the movie. |
Cutesy factor | Lina Inverse is one kawaii hyper sorceress! Naga also has some cute colored bubble-thingies. |
Notes | Created by Kadokawa Shoten. Hayashibara Megumi does Lina's voice and sings the theme songs. You don't have to watch any of the TV series to get it. I'm kind of biased against this movie because I saw it dubbed, so it's probably even better than it sounds! |
