MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH

SummaryThree girls get teleported from Tokyo Tower to Cephiro, a land where everything is determined by the heart. The three girls learn magic, receive weapons and armor that evolves, and go on a journey to save Cephiro from the evil Zagato. Genre: mahou shoujo.
PlotIt's very straightforward and predictable until near the end of the season, when a huge plot twist comes in. And I really liked the ending.
CharactersVery predictable. Hikaru is the fire elemental girl, so she wears red and is brave. Umi is water elemental so she wears blue and is pretty. Fuu is wind elemental so she wears green and is smart. Fuu even falls in love with a green-haired guy!
HumorThere's lots of humor scattered through the entire series. It's nothing like in Slayers or Saber Marionette, though.
AnimationClamp draws everything so purdy! Hehe ^_^ They seriously do, though.
MusicThe intros and endings are always fun to hear.
Japanese voices and subtitlesThe voices are good, but nothing all that great. The subtitles on the first few VHS really annoyed me, because they translated -chan to -ster.
Dubbed voicesI didn't watch this dubbed.
Bishounen factorFERIO-SAMA!!!!!! Hehe, I don't think I need to say anything else ^_^
Cutesy factorPuu! Mokona is one fluffy adorable character!
NotesThe all-female manga group CLAMP, which also did various anime such as Card Captor Sakura and X (which I've heard so much about but never watched) did Magic Knight Rayearth.
