| Characters 4/10 | There is a very large cast of characters, which includes almost all fantasy-type humans. You also hire your own soldiers, who, if they are very good, become much more important and likeable than the actual characters. |
| Fun Factor 10/10 | Once you understand the battle system, you could easily fight for hours on end. |
| Gameplay 15/10 (Not a typo!) | Since the battle system is so complex, it'll take a little while to learn it. After that, it's the best there is! |
| Replayability 10/10 | You're probably going to miss a lot the first time through- jobs, move-find treasures, stuff to steal, etc. |
| Graphics 5/10 | The 2-D graphics are not very good, especially for its time. |
| Music 1/10 | Gah... If you have hour-long battles like I sometimes do, the music can really get monotonous. |
| Sex Object Factor 1/10 | Nobody is attracted to a little sprite. |
| Cutesy Factor 7/10 | Sprites are always cute- especially chocobos and female priests! |
