| Fun Factor 8/10 | The mini games and battles can be fun. The story? Not the least bit fun. |
| Gameplay 7/10 | Overall, pretty good gameplay. The materia system is mostly good, except I think that the skill materia made characters just way too customizable. |
| Replayability 6/10 | There are lots of secrets you'd probably miss the first time. Other than that, there isn't much else you'd gain from playing it a second time. |
| Graphics 7/10 | Wai! 3-D, finally! It's nothing phenomenal, but it looks better than most 2-D. |
| Music 5/10 | Just like any other Final Fantasy. You liked their music, you'll like this music. |
