Tenten (Regular/Older/Kimono) ~ Naruto

About the Costumes

Regular ~ This character is actually what got me into Naruto to begin with. At NDK 2004 I saw a cute figure of her, although I didn't buy it, it got me to look into the series and I found that I liked it quite a bit. So this is the first costume I made. The sandles were made from socks with the toes cut out and men's slippers. Kimono ~ This is the second of Tenten's costumes that I made. I really liked the GO! opening and wanted to make Tenten's kimono I convinced Dotta to do Hinata's which I made as well. My hair was done up by Dotta, we had to put wires in it to get it to stay. O.O The obis were tied by Chris and Kimberly. Older ~ This one was made before they came out with the official coloring for the new outfit so I basically made it the same colors as her old one. The gloves I bought took the lining out of and cut off the fingers the shoes had little flowers on top that I took off. And the frogs used to be white. Don't let anyone ever tell you that you can't dye frogs, you can, just make sure you soak them in vinager after you rinse them to set the color.
