YOHAN LEE is a freelance oboist. A native of Seoul, Korea, he started playing the oboe when he was 14. he received his training from Roger Cole, principal oboist of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and CBC Orchestra. He was positioned as a principal oboist of the Como Lake and Centennial Concert Band, and he received Outstanding Music Award in Concert Band 11 and Concert Band 12. Yohan Lee has participated in music festivals including Coquitlam Festival and Kiwanis Festival. He has appeared as soloist in Centennial Secondary School, playing solo pieces by Marcello, Handel, Ravel, and Saint-Saens. Currently, Yohan Lee is a student of University of British Columbia majoring in Commerce. |
