A storm came through  almost destroying the 10x20 canopy. During the storm I rescued the hovercraft  as it laid on it's side and intact  taking it apart in pieces bringing it inside. The pictures of the  assembly of the stringers  were taken after the storm as I rebuilt the canopy and fixed up the jig and hovercraft.

Stringer Assembly
Updated June 24, 2002
Rib held in vise while I cut the notches out with a hand saw. I used a handsaw because some of the notches are at odd angles.
Some of the stringers were cut out of 2x4's and some were cut out of 1x2's.
I seemed to have collected a large amount of clamps. These clamps work very good.
I am using two 100' tapes to find the center front point.
The hovercraft is resting on a 2x4 jig and  is resting on four plastic saw horses. The saw horses are resting on two very heavy 3/8" 3" angled steel on pieces of 2x4's because the hovercraft is being build outside in the yard. The plastic saw horses have worked out very well.
Cutting stringer end on radial arm saw to join another stringer to make them longer.
