This is Ike. He's the boss.

This is what he does.

This is Cricket. She works there too.
Cricket says,

"Just thought I would tell you a little more about the Indianola Senior Citizens and Community Center. It used to be in Canadian Shores. Then they moved over to the Masonic Lodge and later to the building we are in now. It has been around for years.

People really don't know what they are missing out on by not coming to the Center, like good food, games, conversations, and just all around good people. We fix a meal daily Monday thru Friday. We serve at 11:30 am, it is all you can eat while supplies last.
We serve everything from the main dish, sides, beans & cornbread, drinks (tea, coffee, water, milk, & sometimes sodas), salad (Thurs), breads (homemade yeast rolls, biscuits, cornbread) and a homemade dessert (That's my area).

We really don't charge, we just ask for a small donation (Mon., Tues., & Fri., is $2 and Wed., Thurs, is $3).

(Insert menu here)
We may change the menu up a little just because we run out of something, or we get in some garden produce that needs to be used before it turns bad. Most everything is made just like you would make it at home. Just some down home cooking. Cheaper than what you can do it for or go to town and buy it for especially with today's gas prices. So help get the word out there and help our Center."
