1 Cool Flash Banner Tool

I had some major problems with version 1.0.0 of this software after I bought it, which caused me major frustration and anger. After three and a half weeks, the first three weeks of which Juice Software ignored me (this is where the anger came from), the most urgent bugs were fixed, although the version number remained 1.0.0 (strange!). This software still has a buggy interface and needs work; however, I'm guessing that version 1.1.0 will be fit for public use.

Be forewarned, the simplicity of this software allows for only the most basic of banners, which may be a good thing if you don't want much. However, for $5.00 less, you can buy Sothink Glanda 2005, which is a little bit more complex (just a little bit), but is flexible enough to do almost anything you want in a banner or in a button. I wish I had tried Glanda before I bought 1 Cool Flash Banner Tool!

These are the problems that still need to be resolved:

• cut and past doesn't work for every fields except the text field of a text item (inconvenient and time consuming)
• if you Alt-Tab while in the "Banner Wizard," you cannot Alt-Tab back (inconvenient and time consuming)
• when you're resizing shapes, there is no line to tell you where you're resizing to
• the only way I could find to create a new loop was to drag and drop a banner from an existing loop onto the "New Loop" (not very intuitive, and not in the help)
• depending on where you place text, the size of the banner (specifically the bottom edge) doesn't correspond to the actual size
• loops cannot be given a name
• .png files are not supported
• the "Generated HTML Code" is not valid xhtml
