These are really easy tutorials. Remember: Use Paint Shop Pro 7 if you follow these tutorials. You might be able to use them on PSP 8 also.

» Open a blank image. Any size you want. You can also put any background colour if you want or just leave it blank.

» Go to Tool Options  and you may select any type of brush, but in a different colour to your background colour. Use it on the image however way you want it.

» Effects ---» Texture Effects ---» Mosaic - Antique OR Effects ---» Texture Effects ---» Mosaic - Glass ---» Mosaic - Antique.

Your image should come out like this.

The "Dither" Effect

» First of all, open up a new image or whatever you want to apply the effect to.

» Colors ---» Decrease Color Depth ---» 2 Colors (1 Bit).

» After you do that, a small window will pop up and you'll have to make sure you have the following boxes selected: Grey Values, Ordered Dither & Weighted. Click "OK"

» Now the layer should be black and white, so copy and paste it into the original image and adjust the layer opacity and/or the effect, till you get what you want.

» Go to Effects ---» Texture Effects ---» Weave

» Gap Size ---» 1 Width ---» 8 Opacity ---» 4

» Check "Fill Gaps".
