Three days have passed. Caroline was much better and in two days the kids
would be coming home. Jason had continued to take care of her, but they
hadn't really spoken since that day. Caroline had stayed in that bedroom,
never venturing out.

It was 7:00 pm. Jason had gone out for business and had promised that he
would be back with dinner. Caroline had eaten a lot the past few days and
she had almost regained her figure.

She layed in bed channel surfing. Finally she turned the TV off and got out of
bed. She stood up and walked to the door. Taking a deep breath, she
pushed the door open and stepped into the hallway and made her way into
the main room. There was the dining table, his desk, the new couch. Caroline
remembered all the good times they had spent together in that big room. She
wandered to the desk and rubbed her hands along the smooth wood. She
remembered all the times she had "distracted" Jason at that table. Caroline
could remember the feel of the wood on her bare back. She shuddered and
quickly turned away.

She knew she shouldn't, but it was as if some force was pulling her up those
long stairs. She made her way into the bedroom. Their bedroom. It looked
exactly the same as it had when she had left. She remembered their
bittersweet parting. She walked to the bed and ran her hand along the
bedspread as the last night she had spent in that bed replayed in her mind.
The passionate night of love making after the nurses ball. The feeling of
security, thinking she'd be with Jason forever. She wandered around and
realized she had left behind so much behind. Some she intended of leaving
but others were stuf she hadn't packed before Jason had come and she
couldn't stand to be near him for too long, so she just left.

She wandered to her drawer of lingerie. Laying on top was her favorite
piece. She had worn it the first time they made love, the first time they made
love as husband and wife and on other special occasions. It was light pink
and satin, it had an extremly low neck line and showed off Carolines
cleavage. It stopped just below the tips of her thighs. The straps were made
of black lace and their was a strip of black lace around the neckline and
around the bottom. It was very tight around the chest and than flared out. It
was short and flimsy and Jason loved it.

She slowly unbuttoned her long night shirt and put on the lingerie. She loved
how the satin felt against her skin. She walked over to her vanity and picked
up her favorite perfume. She sprayed herself and than sat down. She applied
some foundation, powder, blush and some lip gloss. She left her eyes bare.

She stood up and walked toward the closet. Her side was perfectly bare,
except for that dress. That red dress, the same one Jason had held after she
left. She took it off the hanger and slowly stepped into it. The only jewlery
she wore was her silver locket, which she hadn't taken off since she left him.
This was her outfit. The outfit she wore when everything was great. It was
her favorite Mrs. Jason Morgan outfit. It was odd, but for the first time she
felt like an imposer in that outfit. A little voice told her that it was because she
was no longer Mrs. Jason Morgan. She felt tears form in her eyes, but she
blinked them back and took a deep breath as she approached the full legnth
mirror with wariness. She gasped as she saw herself in the mirror. She
looked good, she looked great she looked like the wife of Jason Morgan.

"Caroline?" Jasons strong voice called from downstairs downstairs.

She walked out of the room and slowly decended down the stairs. Jason
looked up at her, and his breath caught in his throat, finally he whispered
"Wow!"

She looked at him and slightly smiled and than she looked at him. He was
wearing the first suit they ever picked out together. Slowly she walked down
to him. They were inches apart as Caroline reached out and touched his
chest "Nice suit." She whispered.

He smiled down at her and she looked over his shoulder and this time her
breath caught in her throat. "Jason." She whispered.

She walked around him. The lights were off and the room was lit by candles.
There were rose petals scattered over the dining room table, the chairs, the
furniture and all over the floor. He had started a fire in the fire place. There
was a champagne basket next to the table and two silver platters on the
table. Each had pasta and shrimp in white wine sauce, her favorite. "How'd
you.....Why'd you."

He put his hands on her shoulders and said "I did it because I love you, and I
know you're leaving, but I wanted one last meal with you. Something good
to look back on. Caroline we've had too good of a relationship to let it end
on such a bad note. If we have to end it, lets end it good."

She nodded as tears fell down her face. Suddenly, soft music filed the air. It
was their wedding song "I Swear" by All-4-One

Jason took her hand and walked her to the table where he pulled out her
chair and she sat down. He sat across from her. He opened the champagne
and poured each of them a glass.

(He held up his glass and she did the same "To regrets." he said

"And moving on."she tearfully added.

He sadly nodded and they each brought their glasses to their lips, while their
eyes locked over the candles.)

(They began to eat silently. Each stealing glances at one another, but looking
away when the other one looked. Caroline had her left hand resting on the
table as she ate with her right one. Slowly Jason put his hand on top of hers.
Their eyes locked and Jason felt her foot rub up against his. He remembered
how they always played footsie with each other when they ate. It was almost
uncomprehendable that this might be the last time they ever did this.)

( "Caroline, I know it doesn't make a big difference, and it won't change your
mind, but I'm truly sorry."

She nodded tearfully as he brought up his hand to her cheek and caressed
her face, savoring how her soft creamy skin felt. "Dance with me." he said as
he slowly stood and let his hand drop from her cheek, to her neck, to her
shooulder, down her arm, untill it reached her hand, which he gingerly held in
his. She nodded and stood up.)

( She stood in front of him and he brought his hands to her waist, holding on
to her hips. Cautiously she brought her hands to his neck. Ther tensiously
swayed, untill Caroline felt that she had to be held in his arms again. She
stepped closer to him, wraping her arms around his neck and placing her
head at a mid point between his shoulder blade and his chest. He smiled at
the feeling of her in his arms and wrapped his arms around her tiny waist.
Each pulling, each other closer. They had stopped moving and were just
holding each other. His hands were rubbing her lower back and behind, in
slow tender movements. She was running one hand through his hair, while
with the other she delicately ran her finger tips over his neck. They stood like
that just holding each other. He felt her warm tears seeping through his shirt
and she felt his hot salty tears falling onto her neck. Finally she whispered
those three fatefull words that would forever change their lives.)

"I forgive you."

"What?" Jason asked as he pulled away, still holding her. "I forgive you." she
said more strongly. She brought her hands up to his cheeks and said "I love
you and I forgive you."

"Oh, I Love you too baby." Jason choked out before he swept her into his
arms and twilred her around. When he set her down, he burried his face into
her hair and sobbed as did she while she clinged onto his back. Slowly they
pulled away and looked into each others tear filled eyes. They embraced
again, this time letting their mouths meet. Their kisses were salty and hot from
the tears that had fallen onto their lips. They grasped onto each others pulling
closer as their mouths melted together. Caroline felt Jasons hands wonder to
her back and tug at the zipper of her dress.)

(Their mouths never parted as he pulled the zipper all the way down,
reaching her behind, he moved his hands to her shoulders where he pulled
the straps of her dress down. Still kissing, he pushed the dress down and she
steped out of it. They finally parted and Jason saw she was wearing his
favorite negligee. He smiled and ran his hands up and down her sides, loving
how she felt under the material. Slowly he scopped down and carried her
over to the carpet in front of the fireplace.)

(He layed her down on the carpet. He stood and walked to the table and got
the champagne bottle. He returned to her on the carpet and layed on his
side, proped up on one elbow. He took a quick swig fro the bottle, and she
leaned up a little as he brought the bottle to her mouth and tilted the bottle
back a bit. Some trailed from her lips, down her chin, and he quickly took
the bottle away and put it to the side. He licked up the liquid from her chin
going up untill he reached her mouth. He quickly pressed his lips to hers as
they joined for another hot kiss.)

(He pulled away and reached behind his neck. He tugged at a chain and it
broke. He pulled off the two rings that he had on it. He set one on the carpet
and the other he held in his hand as he asked "Caroline Morgan, will you
make me the happiest man alive and marry me, even though I probably don't
deserve it?" She brought her hands to his face and whispered "There's
nothing I want more in the whole world." She smiled and he leaned down to
kiss her, when he pulled away this time, he pulled her up with him, so they
were sitting side by side, facing differnt directions. He took his wedding band
off his finger and handed it to her, he then picked up her wedding band from
the floor. Slowly he slid the ring over her finger as he whispered "I Jason
Morgan, take Caroline Morgan as my wife, 'till death do we part." She slid
the ring over his finger and whispered "I, Caroline Morgan, take Jason
Morgan as my husband, 'till death do we part." They looked deeply onto
each others eyes and kissed each other with desire and feel to the carpet.)

(They rolled on the floor kising. Caroline brought her hands to his jacket and
pushed it off him, and began tugging at his shirt, thay had to break away as
Caroline pulled the shirt over his head. He than layed on top of her and
began inching the material of the negligee up her body and began trailing
kisses up her body, as he followed the material up her body with kisses.
Once the negligee was off , they began to kiss again.)

(They spent the night making love untill, exhausted they layed in each others
arms. "I meant what I said." Jason said as he played with her hair. "What did
you say?" she asked as she rubbed her hand along his torso. "I asked you to

propped herself on her elbows and looked at him and quietly said "I'd love
to.")

Ever After - Chapter 14

Caroline Morgan stood in the brides room, in her wedding dress. It was
breathtaking. It was off white and had a low neckline, anf had off the
shoulder long sleeves, the dress was covered in beeds and poofed out at her
waist. Her maid of Honor, Brenda, in her purple gown was smoothing out
her train, while Emily and Elizabeth in lavender bridesmaids gowns worked
on her veil.

It was three weeks after that night. Three blissfull weeks. They had an
engagement party at Lukes 3 days after that night and everything had
happened so quickly after that.

"Caroline, it's time to line up for the march." Brenda said and Caroline smiled

She walked out and saw Michael and Lilly at the front of the line. Lilly was
the flower girl, and Michael was the ring bearer. Caroline smiled at them.
Jason had obviously chosen Sonny as his best man. Everyone knew it would
be awkward at the end of the ceremony, when Sonny and Brenda had to
walk down the aisle, but they had agreed to do it. Lucky and Nikolas were
his ushers.

The music began softly and Lilly and Michael walked out. Lilly loved
throwing the flowers, and Michael got jealous and began to throw some too.
Next Brenda walked out. Than Lucky and Elizabeth and Emily and Nikolas.

As the wedding march began Luke looked at Caroline "You look beautiful
Caroline, and I am so honored to be giving you away."

"I Love you Luke." she replied

The doors opened and Luke and Caroline stepped out and the entire room
gasped.Her eyes met Jasons and never left, neither did the beaming look on
her face and mile wide smile. Jason looked equally as happy. As they
reached the alter, Luke kissed Caroline on the cheek and sat down. Caroline
took Jasons hand and they linked arms as the ceremony began.

The priest talked, but Jason and Caroline didn't hear any of the service. They
were too lost in each others eyes. But they did hear when the priest said
"Please face each ther and exchange your own vows."

Caroline and Jason turned to one another and held hands.

Jason spoke first. "Caroline, before I met you, I didn't believe in heaven. But,
now I do, because you're my heaven. You are my heaven wrapped in the
package of a beautiful, smart, graceful woman. You are my mind, you are
my inspiration, you are my heart, you are my soul, you are my muse, you are
my heaven. Every thought I think, every breath I take is for you. I love you
and intend on showing you how much I love you every day for the rest of our
lives."

Carline smiled through her tears as she brought her hand to his face and said
"Jason. you are my hero. You saved me from everything there is to be saved
from. You made me a better person through your love. You accepted me,
rain soaked, without a friend in the world, and took care of me. You are part
of me. I feel confident that we'll be together untill the end, because, Jason,
our love is real. It's the lasting kind. I love you."

They exchanged rings and the priest concluded "I now pronounce you man
and wife, again. You may kiss your bride."

The room erupted in applause as Jason and Caroline just stared at each
other untill finally, Jason grabbed her in his arms content, just being in each
others arms. Finally they broke away, he lifted her veil and their lips crashed
together in a passionate kiss.

Everything seemed like a blur, except for their mouths. They stood their, lost
in their hapiness for quite a while, untill the heared the priest clear his
throught. They slightly broke away and looked at him. "Uh...if you don't stop
now, there will be no need for a honeymoon."

The whole room erupted in laughter.

The reception:

Sonny, Brenda, Jason and Caroline stood on the stage, glasses in hand.

Sonny began as he said "Well, I'm extremly happy that you two have
re-found love with each other, You two deserve it."

"I've never seen two people so in love. May you two grow old and happy
together." Brenda added.

Everyone raised their glasses and sipped, everyone but Caroline, who raised
her hands to quiet the room.

"O.K., everyone. I have a big announcement to make. I can't drink to that."

The room erupted into whispers as Jason said "What do you mean you can't
drink to us growing old together? Caroline?"

"Please everyone, let me explain." Caroline said loudly and waited untill she
had everybodys full attention. "I can't drink to that, because this drink is
achololic. You see, not only is Jason a newlywed again, but he's going to be
a daddy again also."

The room erupted into appluse as Jason looked at his wife and smiled at her.
He gathered her in his arms and spun her around. "I Love you." he said and
kissed Caroline and then said "You too." and kissed her stomache.

"Ok., now it's time for our first dance as husband and wife, again." Caroline
began "But we didn't want to use the same song as last time, because we felt
that this song, would hold more meaning this time around, so...hit it."

Vanessa Williams "Save The Best For Last." began to play

(Jason took Carolines hand and led her to the dance floor. He placed his
arms around her waist and she put hers around his neck. They held onto
each other and swayed. Slowly Jason removed one arm from her waist and
he placed his hand on her stomache. Their eyes locked and they leaned in for
a kiss. Their kiss was torn apart by Lilly who said "I want to dance too!!"
and than Michael. Soon the four of them were all holding onto each other as
they swayed to the music.)

(Caroline and Jason stood up above the rest of the reception. Caroline
turned her back against the railing and threw her bouque over her head. She
turned in time to see Emily catch it. She jumped up and down and squealed
with delight and ran into Nikolas' arms.)

It's not the way I hoped or how I planned
But somehow it's enough

(Caroline sat in a chair and stuck her leg out. Jason kneeled next to her and
took off her shoe and tossed it behind him, and flashed Caroline a devilish
grin, which made her erupt into laughter. He clasped his hands around her
ankel and slowly slid them up her leg, inching the dress up with his hands.
When he finally saw the blue garder, he looked up at her and winked. Slowly
he brought his head to her leg and sunk his teeth into the garder. The whole
room erupted into applause, whistels, and cheers. He pulled the garder down
her leg with his teeth, untill he finally got it off her leg, he stood up with the
garder hanging from his mouth and everyone cheered. Finnaly he turned his
back and threw it over his shoulder. It was caught by Sonny, who loudly
moaned "Oh...god, no."

(Jason put his hands over Carolines who had her hands clomped over the
knife. Slowly they cut two pieces of cake. Caroline held one in her hand and
Jason had one in his. They slowly brought the pieces to each others mouth
and than quickly thrust them in each others faces. Cake was all over their
hands, mouths, noses and chins. They smiled, laughed and leaned in for a
deep, sensual, cakey kiss.)

(They boarded a private jet bound for Italy, their first honeymoon
destination. They sat down and Caroline handed him a gift wrapped box. He

lost in their passion for one another.)

(They hiked along the countryside of Italy, untill they came to a lagoon with a
waterfall. They smiled at each other and stripped to thier bathingsuits, her in
a red bikini (Only 3 months pregant, not showing yet) and him in a black
speedo (Hey, I can dream).They dived into the cool water and surfaced,
their bodies entangled with one another, kissing under the waterfall. He
reached behind her and unclasped the back of her bikini. They made their
way to a tiny grotto behind the waterfall and made love.)

( It was Christmas Eve. There was a big party at the Quatermaines. Almost
all of Port Charles was there. Caroline, 9 months pregnant was sitting on the
couch talking to Sonny when suddenly a look came over her face and she
grabbed Sonnys leg and screamed. Jason was at her side in a flash. She was
in labor. One problem, there was a snow storm and all the roads were
closed.)

(Caroline layed in front of the Christmas tree. Jason was at her side holding
her hand and trying to comfort her. Bobbie was assiting Renaldo, who was
an ex OB/GYN, in delivering the baby. Sonny stood on the other side of
Caroline holding up a photo of Caroline, Jason, Lilly and Michael at their
second wedding, as her focus point. Luke was passing out cigars.Caroline
was screaming how she wanted drugs, and begged for someone to get her
drunk. Each one of her irrational pleads was met with pledges of love from
Jason, that drove her crazy. At one point she screamed "We're NEVER
having SEX again!!! I want SEPERATE bedrooms!")

( At 3:04 on Christmas morning Caroline and Jasons son was born. At 3:06,
their other son was born. They named their first son Jake, in honor of Jakes
and the other Renaldo, for the man who had delived him and was the one
constant thing in their crazy lives. Caroline layed In Jasons arms, with their
two new sons in hers, and Michael and Lilly on either side of them, in front of
the Christmas tree while Bobbie took a photograph. Jason looked at
Caroline and whispered "And They lived Happily Ever After.")
