Jason entered the penthouse and called out, "Carly!" There was no answer. He started to panic and checked every room in the house. When he saw Michael was missing too he didn't know what to do. When Carly was upset she didn't think clearly she just acted not thinking anything through. Look at the way she snuck onto the plane just so she could save his life. He ran back downstairs to see Bobbie in the middle of the room, "Have you seen her?""Who, Carly?" Bobbie tapped her foot on the floor impatiently," Oh yeah. I've seen my heartbroken daughter. I've seen her feeling worthless and like she's nothing thanks to you!"
"Where is she?" Jason asked ignoring her anger.
"I'm not going to tell you! Especially after what you did to her! Why would I let you anywhere near my daughter! You have got to stop leading her on!" Bobbie yelled.
"I have to see her."
"No! I won't let you anywhere near her! You'd just make it worse!" Bobbie shouted even more angry by how he was demanding things.
"How's Michael?"
"Oh! Michael!"Bobbie laughed," Isn't that just like you. Let's forget Carly! Let's move on to my son! Did it ever occur to you that Carly is his mother! You should be just as concerned for her as you are for Michael! What is it with you!? Is it just that you have no heart?! No soul!? How can you do this to her?! It's always about Robin or Michael! You don't give a damn about her!"
"I do! Don't you see that's why I have to see her!" Jason screamed.
"No! I won't let you see her! I won't let you hurt her anymore!"
"Did she tell you about Robin?! Did she tell you I went after Robin?!"
"Oh and that's supposed to make it better! Instead of going after the woman that you got pregnant you went after Robin!"
"No I went after Robin to tell her the truth! I went after Robin to make sure she knew Carly didn't do anything wrong!"
"I don't care what you think you did! I'm going to tell you this one time and one time only! You stay away from her! You promised her you'd make sure she would never be hurt! That you'd protect her! But you know what the only person she really needs to be protected from is you! And I am going to protect her and Michael." Bobbie stated and stormed out.
Jason stood in place. He was too tired to chase anyone else. Carly must have really been upset to make Bobbie so mad. He was boarding a plane tomorrow so he could leave but he wanted to say goodbye to Carly. He just told himself he was leaving and if he saw her tomorrow great if not he'd just have to wait until he got back.
**********Carly put her hands under her back and gently pulled herself up by dragging her body up slowly. The light shined on her face and kind of blurred her vision. She was happy because last night was the first time in a long time she had gotten a good night's rest. She tucked her hair behind her ears and walked downstairs. Bobbie had Michael in a highchair and was feeding him. Carly walked to the wall right before the entering the room. She leaned her head against the wall. She loved watching her mother feed Michael. Bobbie was pretending the spoon was an airplane and Michael loved the game. Carly stepped into the room, "Well, looks like someone's having fun." She leaned over to Michael," Aren't you sweety."
Michael waved his hands and giggled.
"I'll take that as yes." Carly smiled then turned to Bobbie, "Mom."
Bobbie loved to hear Carly say that, "Yes, Carly."
"What happened with Jason?" Carly was dying to know.
"I met up with him." Bobbie wiped Michael's face.
"You met with him? Why?I thought you'd just call?" Carly started to grow upset. She sat back in her seat and tried to catch her breath.
"I had to see him, Carly." Bobbie put the spoon in the sink and took Michael out of the highchair, "After I saw you last night I had to talk to him. I had to make sure he'd stop."
"What'd you say to him?"
"I just had to make him stop, Carly, that's all."
"I have to go see Jason." Carly stood and kissed Michael. Carly smiled at Bobbie again, "Thank you. You did what you thought and you're right. Maybe I should just give up on him. But he has to stop I do. I'm going to have to finish before I can stop. I can't stop loving him until I settle this on my own." Carly waved goodbye to Michael and Bobbie and walked out.
