MORRIS ROSENHACK

Morris Rosenhack, 87, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed on March 31, 2008 from cerebrovascular disease after suffering a major stroke. He was born on June 7, 1920 in New York.
At the age of 19, Morris joined the U.S. Army in 1940 and fulfilled his military service obligation.
Morris enjoyed two careers during his working years. He secured a job with Coca-Cola and delivered the product to stores on his route. Afterwards, he worked for several years as a butcher in a business owned by his brother.
Morris retired and began playing in the Winter Haven Senior Citizens Softball Club, as the Winter Haven Senior Softball Club was known at that time.
The Boston Red Sox sponsored a senior team and Morris was included in that group of softball players. The team was called the Winter Haven Red Sox Seniors.
