FORREST KEOWN

Forrest Keown, a retired pharmacist, died of cancer on November, 22, 2007. Forrest was one of the original members of the Winter Haven Softball Club. He was an excellent player, with more than 300 hits and 70 home runs to his credit during his playing days in Winter Haven. He was inducted into the Polk County Senior Softball Hall of Fame in 2003.
From 2003 through the summer of 2004, Forrest voluntarily opened the gates to the softball fields in the morning for the Winter Haven Senior Softball Club.
Forrest Keown is survived by two sons - Matthew and David.
