Cream butter & sugar. Beat in egg & vanilla. Add flour & nuts.
Spread dough in greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool & frost.
Frosting:
Bring butter, cream & sugar to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from
heat; stir in butterscotch chips until melted.
Add liqueur to taste, if desired. Spread over cooled bars.
