Fruit Filled Bars


Combine dried fruit in saucepan. Cook over low heat until thickened.

Combine cream cheese, shortening and sour cream in mixer bowl; mix until smooth. Add flour and salt: mix to form dough. Chill for 30 minutes or until firm.

Roll half the dough on cookie sheet. Spread with fruit filling. Roll remaining dough on floured surface. Place over filling.

Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown.

Cool on wire rack. Cut into squares.
