• 1 C. shortening
• 2 C. brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 C. water
• 3 1/2 C. flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 3 C. cut up gum drops

Mix all ingredients together. Chill for 1 hour

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 400º for 10 minutes
