Taralli (also as Frizelli)

Many Italian bakery's have these, they are hard when you bite into them and will keep a long time. Very good with soup, coffee and salad. . . Enjoy. . .

In a large bowl, mix flour, oil, fennel, pepper, onion and onion powder. Mix well and slowly add hot water, mixing until all the water is used. Keep mixing until it forms a dough.

Remove to a flat surface and cut dough into small pieces. Roll out into cigar lengths and connect each end to form a circle.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes.
