Cream butter, sugar, and eggs, blend in sour cream.
Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and cloves; add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats, nuts, dates, raisins, and cherries.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with a candied cherry half.
Bake 350° 10-12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on rack
