Cheesecake Brownies


Cream butter and cream cheese; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Dissolve coffee granules in hot water, and add to mixture.

Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; add to cream cheese mixture, mixing well. Stir in vanilla and chopped pecans.

Pour batter into greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

Yield: about 20 brownies
