Caramel Bars


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Stir together oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt. Add melted butter; mix well. Press half of mixture over bottom of a l3-inch by 9-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, melt caramels and milk together over low heat, stirring frequently.

When crust has baked, sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips and walnuts. Drizzle with caramel sauce. Crumble remainder of crust mixture over caramel

Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
