Lemon Squares


In a medium bowl combine butter, 2 cups flour and confectioner's sugar until well mixed. Pat mix evenly in a 13 - 9 inch pan and bake for 15 minutes.

While that is baking, beat eggs slightly. Add sugar, lemon juice, 1 TBS flour, and baking powder. Mix well. Pour over prepared baked crust. Return to oven for 40 to 50 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares when cool.

(I did not sprinkle with the confectioner's sugar as I really like the lemon color. Mb)
