Preheat the oven to 325°. Coat a baking sheet with non stick spray.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
Place the egg white in a medium bowl and whisk lightly. Whisk in the honey, applesauce, butter or margarine, and vanilla. Add to the flour mixture and stir until well combined. Fold in raisins and chocolate chips.
Drop the dough by rounded teaspoons onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 to 3 inches apart. If desired, flatten the cookies slightly with a fork.
Bake for 16 to 18 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and cool on a wire rack.
