Sift together the flour and baking soda, set
aside. In a large bowl,
cream together the butter, brown sugar and white
sugar. Stir in the
instant pudding until blended. Then stir in the
eggs and vanilla. Add
the dry ingredients and mix well. Finally, stir
in the chocolate chips
and nuts.
Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto
unprepared cookie sheets. Bake
for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges
should be golden
brown.
I made these yesterday and I must say they are the best chocolate chip
cookies I've ever made. They are still as soft today as when they came
out of the oven yesterday. I used the vanilla pudding mix, but want to try using chocolate pudding next time. I also used 1 cup margarine and 1 cup Butter Flavored Crisco instead of the 2 cups butter. I only baked them for 10 minutes.
