• 2 c flour
• 1/2 c powdered sugar
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 1 c butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 c finely chopped walnuts

Combine flour, powdered sugar and salt, cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. Add vanilla and nuts; mix with hands to form a smooth dough

Form into 2 1/2" fingers using about 1 T dough for each cookie. Place on ungreased cookie sheet

Bake 400° 5-7 minutes or until light golden brown and set. Cool 1 minute. Remove and carefully roll in powdered sugar

Cool, and store in tightly covered container
