• 1 cup butter, at room temperature
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 1 egg, at room temperature
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups cake flour
• Powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour; mix to a stiff dough.

Roll into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake 15 minutes.

While still warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar.
