• 1 cup Sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 6-ounce pack pitted dates, cut in thirds
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup walnut pieces
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and mix well. Add all other ingredients and mix well.

Bake in 9x9 or 7x11 greased pan for 35-45 minutes. Cool. When cooled, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
