White Chocolate Chunk & Macadamia Nut Cookies


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter two cookie sheets and set aside.

Cream butter and both sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed until light, about 3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla and mix until well blended.

Sift flours with baking soda and salt. Slowly add this mixture to the butter mixture. Stir in the chocolate chunks and nuts.

Roll tablespoons of dough in your hands to make balls. Place on baking sheets and gently flatten.

Bake until lightly golden, about 12 minutes.

Let sit on cookie sheet a few minutes then remove to a wire rack to cool.


Yield: about 30 2" cookies
