Waffle Cookies

1 cup margarine
4 Tblsp. cocoa
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
Nuts are optional
Melt margarine with cocoa, blend well.
Beat in sugar, eggs & vanilla. Add flour & nuts, mix well.
Using about 1 Tblsp. per cookie, bake on waffle iron at medium temperature for 1 minute.
I have another recipe, same ingredients that suggests preheating waffle iron & greasing it & baking for 2 minutes. If using a teflon coated iron, I don't think greasing the iron would be necessary.
OPTIONAL FROSTING
1 to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tblsp. butter, softened
2 Tblsp. milk
Mix together until smooth.
