Chocolate Raisin Clusters


Preheat oven to 350º

Rinse and drain raisins, set aside.

Cream Crisco and brown sugar in a bowl. Add egg and beat thoroughly. Blend in melted chocolate and van extract.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt, add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop by Tbsp. about 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets.

Bake for 15 minutes. Cool cookies on rack
