Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies
The reason they call them by this name is that you make them. Put them on the table. Come back in an hour and the have disappeared!
1/2 Cup butterscotch pieces
1/4 Cup butter or margarine
Melt in saucepan. Cool until lukewarm
Add:
3/4 Cup plain flour
1/3 Cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Mix well and add:
1 Cup miniature marshmallows
1/4 Cup chopped nuts
1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Fold in until blended
Spread in a greased 9" square pan
Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes. Center will be soft, but will become firm when cool
