German Chocolate Caramel Bars
1 German Chocolate cake mix
2/3 Cup evaporated milk
3/4 Cup melted margarine
1 Cup chocolate chips
50 caramels
Mix the cake mix, 1/3 Cup evaporated milk and melted margarine together
Pat 1/2 of the mixture in a 9x13" pan and bake at 350º for 8 minutes
Melt the caramels and the remaining 1/3 Cup evaporated milk in a double boiler and spread this on top of the bars when taken out of the oven
Top with the chocolate chips and remaining half of the mixture
Bake another 15 minutes
