Over this weekend, we made 327 contacts with 20 entities on the DXCC entity list during this weekend. Not a world record - but to the 4A2Q group a success. Most of these gatherings focus mainly on 40m SSB chatting with other Mexican amateurs, and this weekend was going to add DXing with more radios, bands, and modes. We worked CW, SSB, digital modes, and one satellite - showing some of these amateurs stuff they may not have tried before.
And now, the statistics....
4A2Q contacts by band
4A2Q contacts by mode
4A2Q contacts by band/mode combination
4A2Q contacts by DXCC entity
Our log has contacts with all continents except Antarctica, and despite the marginal HF propagation, no contacts on three bands we intended to operate on, and the fact this was not going to be an around-the-clock radio operation - the 4A2Q group was happy with this outcome. These statistics have become motivation for a better effort next year, and possibly other operations in northern Mexico focusing more on the radio.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact 4A2Q.
