"What would the world have been like without magic? Probably a lot better, I believe. I'm Terra Branford, and I was brought into this world because of magic. My father, Maduin, was an esper. My mother was a mortal. It certainly made for some interesting family reunions... And I was born with the gift of magic. Through the magicite, my friends gained magical abilities too, which helped us defeat Kefka. Not only that, but I lost my magical abilities after the Statues were broken. No matter, I found what I was looking for in life. Leo... and the children. I learned how to love anyway. It was a beautiful thing. And without magic, I wouldn't be here.
