"None of the changes brought to our world would have been possible without the creatures known as Espers. I'm Celes, and I'll be your guide for their world. They are the source of our magic power, though not as powerful as the Statues. The Empire (where I used to work) was using them to extract Magicite for their own evil purposes. Thank goodness we saved them, including a selfless act of bravery by yours truly. But I'm not like that. I was infused with the power of the Espers as a small child. The only person without the need of Magicite power is Terra, but she is 1/2 esper anyway, so... I'm confused. But they are amazing creatures. Enjoy!"
