My periods were due yesterday and for the first time in my life they have been coming every 28days on the dot, for the past 6 cycles.  When they didn't come I thought, perhaps we'd got lucky and were pg again!!!!  So I went down to the shop to get a few things a picked up a pg test.  DH was out in the yard, he came upstairs when I got home and I said, "I just have to do this", showing him the pg test.  He told me later, he knew it would be positive, bc the only time I ever get a test it is positive.  Sure enough there was a faint line.  I would have only just been 4 weeks so that wasn't surprising.  I did another test the next morning and it was a little darker.  Rob couldn't help himself and told all his mates at the preservation railway!!!

I went to see my Dr for my first anti-natal today, and he was surprised to see me.  This is the third time I've got pg without fertility treatment, and with PCOS, I think he's a little impressed!!!  He gave me a scan and there was one little baby with it's heart beating away nicely :-)  I was 9wks today.  My due date is Feb 3rd 2005 :-)  Will go at the end of January though for sure.  So here we go again, all the feelings that were with me while pg with Hannah and Mitchell are here, but I'm going to enjoy this pg!!!
Saturday 30th October
So much for keeping up with the website!!!!  I'm 26wks 2days today, and all is going well.  I've had more scans since, including the big 19wk one.  We weren't going to find out the sex, but when the woman said she had a look we asked what she thought.  We aren't going to totally believe her though until the baby is born.  Cause as you know Mitchell was a girl at 19wks and 34wks!!!  I will have another scan at 33 -34wks to check the cord as usual.  Hannah is due to start preschool on my due date.  But I never go to my due date, so that will be fine :-)  Still very nervous, but that's part of me being pg now anyways.  Will try to update again BEFORE the baby is born!!!  I'll have to take some belly shots!
Isn't this cute?
Wednesday 17th November
Saw my OB today, I'm 29wks tomorrow.  I took Hannah with me as she wanted to see the baby. She thought that the Dr was going to take the baby out so she could see, lol. I tried to explain that the Dr puts a kind of a camera on my belly and puts the picture up on the TV screen. When Nanna rang this morning, she told her that the Dr was going to take the baby out of mummy's belly and put it on the TV, lol.  Anyway, he did a scan and Hannah watched wide eyed. The baby is measuring 30wks 4 days, which is almost 2wks more than I am!!! He said by the time I'm ready to go, it will be a nice average size, 8lb or more. Well Mitchell was 7lb 15 at 5 days early. Don't know what he meant by 'when I'm ready to go' probably, if he remembers what I'm like, a week early, lol.  Bub is approx 1.5kg and is still the same sex as last time, lol. If it changes when s/he's born then there is something amazing that goes on in my uterus!!!! The fluid level is fine, always one thing that is on my mind.
I had my appointment at my OB's booked for 3.15 this arvo.  Now it only takes 10minutes to get from this side of town to the other (where the Dr is)  So we leave at 3o'clock.  Getting closer to the 'old' bridge, it's evident that something is wrong and traffic is getting backed up for some reason.  Just before getting on to the bridge there are police redirecting traffic to the 'new' bridge.  Well of course, first day of school, just got out and traffic is just terrible, all roads leading to all bridges are blocked.
We ended up going the long way around to the 'new' bridge and called the Dr on the mobile to say we'd be late.  Receptionist said we had to make it there by 4 or re-book cause Dr had to go and deliver a baby by c-sec at 4.30.  I almost lost it and cried because she also said there had been an accident on the 'new' bridge, it was then 3.40pm.
The traffic on the new bridge was going at a snails pace, but we made it to the Dr's by 10 to 4!!!  Talk about going via the Cape!!!
Well he checked me, I'm 2-3cm dilated and 80% effaced already.  Said it should be an easy induction;-)  I'm going in at 5.30 in the morning, gel in at 6 and when contractions start getting serious, water's broken.
Perhaps I should try and put my togs on to get in the pool, that's what happened with Mitch after almost the exact same 'exam' results.
So it's looking like Hannah, Mitch and this baby will all be born on a Tuesday ;-)  Robert was born on a Saturday.
Monday 24th January. 2005
36weeks 1 day pg.  This is the last belly shot I took.  I should have taken one on the day bubs was born.  I was huge, so low as well.  Dr actually thought I was going to go early, like before Christmas, but I ended up being induced!!!
