Welcomeme to Fried.com, my little bit of insanity on the web. I'm your host Wakka, and I feel a bit of explanation is in order. A little over ten years ago, Disney Animation Studios did something they had never done before. They created a show that did not suck, and that was in fact was really good. The show was called "Darkwing Duck" and featured, among other things, an egotistical super-hero with an inferiority complex, a super powered labrat, an insane harlequin,a veritable buffet of James Bond and Batman refences, and a full spectrum of neurological disorder.
The show smashed, ran for three seasons, and was then suddenly cancelled for being too violent. Just as the series hit its stride, the censors yanked it from the airwaves.
For nearly ten years in my life, this show was a vague memory and emotional scar. Recently, I came to live in a house featuring digital cable, and found that the show was still being run on the Toon Disney network. I began watching (and this time recording) it, and realized that it was not only my favorite show of all time, but also responsible for like 40% of my personality. I began doing some sketches and then started work on what I hope will be a completed comic. And to that end, I offer Fried, the collected artworks, comics, psychoanalyses and other random tidbits I have done based somewhat on the afforementioned show. The title, by the way, should accurately describe the state of the central character of all this. Plus it is a mild drug reference.
This site gets mildly to obviously slashy at times, so mind your step, mortal. Well anyway, enjoy...or don't. Either way, I've done my job
