EDINBURGH

If you want to have a great time at New Years, Edinburgh is the place to be for the Hogmanay Festival. There are plenty of activities the week prior to New Year's and a big street party on New Year's Eve.

Michele and I went there for the big millennium celebration and had the BEST New Year's. Men in kilts, TONS of alcohol (if you remember to BYOB), and everybody makes out at midnight - what more can a girl ask for?

So, here are a few pictures from our adventures that evening....

Edinburgh Castle
Pre-party touring included Edinburgh Castle, of course. Definitely one of the more impressive one's we saw in the isles. This is also where the band Texas played later that night - but they're just shy-t. St. Giles Organ
We also checked out the St. Giles Cathedral just down the road from the castle. Lots of stained glass, flying butresses, and this organ of which Michele got a cool picture. Crowd at Hogmanay
Here's a little crowd shot during the nights events. No, I wasn't drunk (sadly) I just don't know how to use my camera. But, who cares? I really like the shot. Glasgow Crew
This is me with the group of people we hung out with most of the night. They were all from Glasgow - very friendly and entertaining. Definitely made for a good night. But wait!
There's More!
