IRELAND

After a not altogether pleasant jaunt across the Irish Sea (involving lots of heaving and praying for the ride to end), we arrived in Dublin. We stayed a couple of days in County Meath - sort of doing nothing - and then went to Dublin. We explored the city, saw the Book of Kells, Christ Church, St. Patrick's, and then hung out with some friends at Snugs. Being introduced to hot whiskeys that evening was a VERY happy thing thing indeed.

Having rented a car, we drove across Ireland and visited many places. Below are some pictures of some of those places.

Majestic Moher
After spending the night in scenic Westport, we wound our way through Joyce Country - lots of sheep there and even more rain. Towards the afternoon, we visited the Cliffs of Moher.

After a blustery visit to Moher, we drove down to Limerick and then went on to Cork.
