Don't forget, the Hares are responsible for making sure there is enough Beer, water, softies, cups, rubbish bags and snacks at the end of the Hash. The run fee is €4 for adults (18 and over). Kids from 12 to 17 are €2. Kids under 12, dogs and sticks are free. Visitors and virgins are free (one time only). There is no annual subscription fee.

Directions:  if you are coming into the city from the South or East, drive along Obere Donaustrass (along the canal). If you are coming from the North or West, drive down Rossauer Lände (also along the canal). When you see the big red Police Station (Rossauer Kaserne), turn into Türkenstrasse, which then becomes Hörlgasse. Drive up Hörlgasse and across Währingerstrasse into Univeristätstrasse. Park in front of the Votivkirche (there is a small bay here with a few parking space), or turn right at the next traffic light and right again into Votivkicheplatz, where there is usually some places. Note that this is the 9th District and you need a parking ticket (Kurzparkzone) until 10 pm.

Public Transport: Basically take the U2 to Schottentor and follow signs for Votivkirche. There are loads of trams that terminate here (38 to 43), plus all the ring trams.

The First Kaiserjäger Hash Run

Directions: Just go to Baden from anywhere and follow the signs "CASINO ", if you are in front of the Casino follow the "Kaiser Franz Ring ", 150 meters after the church on your right, turn left into " Mathias WELZER Gasse " (already with a green sign for "Rudolfshof ").   Approx. 1 km all the way up (quite steep in some places) until you see "Rudolfshof " on the left side. Park just after Rudolfshof in the parking area under the trees or around Rudolfshof.

Public Transport: Badener Bahn from the Vienna Opera to Baden, Josefsplatz (one hour +), take taxi to Rudolfshof for just a few Euros.  

Südbahnhof to Baden Bahnhof , approx. 25 to 50 minutes, Taxi from Baden Bahnhof to Rudolfshof also just a few Schekels.

Directions: Drive along the Mariahilferstrasse, past Westbahnhof to the technical museum., or from Schoenbrunn along the Schlossallee or ..... In all cases find a parking place nearby (maybe near the on in?) as directly in front of the museum is not possible.

Public Transport: U3, U6 to Westbahnhof, exit the Ausserermariahilferstrasse and catch the 52 or 58 tram to Winckelmannstrasse. You can also get the U4 to Schönbrunn and walk 3 mins along Winckelmannstrasse to the Museum.

On In at the Mariahilfer Braeu (Mariahilfer Strasse 152, Tel: 897 47 49)

Borderline Hash (Austria, Slovakia and Hungary) - Don't miss this year's most Exotic and Boring run. On a completely flat and uninteresting surface, this annoying trail will lead you nowhere. To make it more exciting, the Hares have excelled in false trail and incomplete markings. Only to piss you off. This will be a landmark for S-H-I  T-T-Y.

Directions: Take the A4 and head East, towards the airport. Don't forget to wave goodbye to Vienna, in case you're not allowed back over the border.  Approx 25 km after the airport, leave the A4 and take the A6 towards Kittsee. Leave the A6 at exit 12, signposted Gattendorf. After 500m you reach a roundabout -  take the 3rd exit, heading towards Pama/Kittsee. After 3.5km turn right, signposted Pama/Deutsch Jahrndorf. Drive straight through Pama (blink and you miss it, anyway) and on to the metropolis of Deutsch Jahrndorf. Park in the village centre, outside the Altes Landgut restaurant which is a yellow and white building on the right hand side, address Untere Hauptstrasse 2.

Public Transport: Public transport has been cancelled since no one ever goes here. Please contact the Mitfahrerzentrale at duberg@lyckhem.at. GPS N 48.00.647  N 17.06.396.  If all else fails, borrow a camel off Digitus!

Directions:Proceed along Heiligenstädterstraße to Nußdorf and by the traffic lights with Nußdorf S-Bahn on your right, turn left into Nußdorfer Platz and drive up the hill following the tram tracks. Park where you can.

Public Transport: Take the U4/U6 to Heiligenstädt, and then the D-Tram to Nußdorfer Platz. Alternatively take the S-Bahn to Nußdorf and walk from there.

Danube Hash Cruise Run, Note: THIS IS A FRIDAY AFTERNOON RUN

Directions: At the end of the Inner Gürtel (i.e. at Spittelau) enqueue your car in the left lane and take Heiligenstädter Straße out of town (do not get on the Gürtel-bridge!), always following the tracks of tram D. At the junction with Sickenberggasse turn right, underpass the railway and turn left after the tunnel. Keep on straight as far as you are allowed to drive (park whereever you can) - here, where the railway-tracks to your left underpass the motorway above you, you find a wooden hut "Fritzi's Radler-Treff" next to which the run will start.

Public Transport: Take tram D, get off at the last station but one (Nussdorfer Platz), cross Heiligenstädter Straße and underpass the railway tracks through the dark tunnel. Turn left and walk upstream to Fritzi's Radler-Treff (300 meters approx.).

Glo-Balls "Official" 1000th - Celebrate this achievement in style - On-In at the new Wok Haus in Groß-Enzersdorf

Directions: From town, drive over the Reichsbrücke and along the Wagramerstraße. Turn right on to Erzherzog-Karl-Str (by McDonalds) and follow this road all the way until it becomes Esslinger Hauptstraße. Just past the boundary of Vienna and Niederösterreich there is roundabout with a sign to the Autokino do not take this, but continue straight across the roundabout (2nd exit), and take a right (at the next traffic light) into the Reither-Ring which becomes Ziegelofenstrasse. At the end of Ziegelofenstrasse, go right into Badgasse, drive about 500m along Badgasse and look for the car park on the left. (This strange way to drive around the Autokino is to avoid the Flohmarkt in Autokinostrasse).

Public Transport: 26A from Zentrum Kagran (U1) to Autokino. Buses are every 10 minutes and it takes 25 minutes from Zentrum Kagran. Then fast walk for 10 or 15 minutes down Autokinostrassse (~ 900 m).

Directions: Drive along Handelskai or the Donauufer autobahn, get on to the Floridsdorfer bridge and if coming from the Donauufer autobahn turn right off the bridge in to the Donauinsel car park. If coming from Handelskai turn left into the car park

Public Transport: Take the U6 to either Handelskai or Neue Donau station, walk on to the Insel, walk past the Schulschiff to the car park underneath the Floridsdorfer bridge.
