The Hounds are a military branch of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Their sole purpose is to combat Bake-Neko. They do it well, armed to the teeth with ultra-hi-tech weaponry designed specifically to counter the Phantom Cats. At first glance a Hound squad may appear to be an ordinary military unit but this is obviously not the case.
Amongst their arsenal are numerous Cat-fighting weapons, including guns which appear to perform the same function as Kagura's Seals. It seems that most of their anti-Neko weapons work by manipulating or disrupting magnetic fields, but as of yet virtually nothing is known about their technology.
