My Soul's Reflection
by my big sis (I love ya girl!)

As I look in the mirror
My reflection stares back.
I see me, but not all,
For what's missing is black.
A shadow is seems,
Has overtaken my soul.
With the snares of this world,
My conscience now rolls.
Rolls with the guilt
Of the way I have walked,
With the people I see
And the way that I talk.
Now I see the problems:
Life out of God's light,
Where nothing but blackness,
Consumes all my might.
Tears fall in the mirror,
Not my will, but Thine-
The blackness fades out
Forgiveness, divine.
