7. Queer In Your Ear
qAs of today, Queer In Your Ear is back from
vacation, With Kendra and Collin hosting today’s show. In the future, we would like 5-6 collective
members as rotational hosts to lighten the workload and provide variety within
each show.
qShould this plan go well, we will lobby for a second time slot of QIYE
with a focus more on talk
radio, where as Monday’s show will be more on music. This will be evaluated in about 3 months, depending on how the
first part of the year goes.
8. CFS Campaign to Brandon
qBrandon
University is thinking of pulling out their membership with the CFS (Canadian
Federation
of
Students), and the U of W is sending a few people out on a campaign to lobby
them to keep their
membership.
qIf
people are interested in going to Brandon to participate in this massive
influence, they should
talk
to Nina or Brent in the LGBT or Margaret in the main UWSA office.
9. Computer
qWe will be getting a new computer, no objections
from the group, however, someone should look into the files to see if the professor
who donated us her old computer donated it to us directly, or through the
university.
qWe are also looking at donating the old computer to
another Winnipeg organization.

qTheme ideas for vote were Love Potion Number 9 or

Love Potion Number 9 is year specific, and it was a unanimous decision with no
dissent.

us to use. Should his design be a
favorite among the collective, we get our graphic design for free, and he gets
to say he’s the designer (a double positive).
He’ll have the design to us by Tuesday afternoon, and the decision will
be made by votes on Wednesday.
qWe will have one large poster featuring the favorite design, and 3 or 4
other small posters with other designs
