q Next year it won’t happen
q Fundraising amount

q $660 in tickets
q $30 coat check
q Gio’s Money (lost?)
q Happening’s Cheque not made
q $75 fine.
I’m not sure for what…
2. AIDS Fair
q November 25th
q We need condoms, which Kendra will order
3. Pamphlets
q RRC; need theirs.
4. Potluck
q Jón suggests December 20th
q Questions on who should go
5. F.G.W.R.C
q Brent said they want ideas
q Chantelle will call the lady responsible for this
6. Bent On Change
q Brent has info about positive space campaign
q Margaret Carlyle has done nothing for us regarding
safe spaces, Michelle will talk to her.
q As he is the provincial lgbttq* chairperson, he will
be looking into getting queer centers of some sort at Saint Boniface and
Brandon University.
q Simon-Fraser University has a gay board game; we seem to like this idea.
7. Kiss-In
q Lots of heat on this topic, apparently there was some opposition between Brent and Chantelle
8. U of M’s RPM has apparently started a queer solidarity group? Not quite sure, details to follow soon
9. Hops
q U of T has monthly Homohops
q Brent stole U of T’s idea of a hussy hop
q Chantelle suggested a coffee house.
10. Gender Week
q Lots of stuff planned for this year. We’re going to have movies all in one day instead of split between a few days.
q Drag Show on the Monday, this can psych people up for the rest of the week
q Panel discussion most likely on Friday
q New idea for this year: Art Show and coffee house.
o Venue: Duckworth
o Coffee house coordinated by Chantelle, art show curated by Kegan, who mentioned there are already some artists interested in showcasing their work.
q We will see if the women’s center wants to host an event as part of our gender week.
q More heat about the kiss-in, to have it possibly during gender week. Kendra and Nina had major problems with this, seeing as the implication would be homosexual couples. What about the bisexuals/queers/* individuals who would prefer to kiss the opposite gender. This is not fair representation of all constituents of the queer community.
11.a. University Admission Forms
q Kendra will look into does the male or female box have to be checked for the form to be processed.
q This would be a wonderful gender week tie-in
11.b. Forms/Gender Week Tie-In
q If we could tie this in to gender week, it would be great
q Posters for this year, one possibility would be to have and image of the form displaying male, female, other with checkboxes, and underneath “saying question your gender”.
