| Umkimzulu puppies are born in my house and each puppy is socialized from the moment they are born until they go home with their families. I am a very hands on breeder and spent many house handling the pups . |

| Before any of the above takes place, I interview each family to make certain that the Rhodesian Ridgeback is the breed for them. If for any reason the family cannot keep their dog for whatever reason , the dog/bitch comes back to us or we will arrange to help find your RR another lovely home .. THIS IS BREEDERS SUPPORT .
Any Rhodeisian Ridgeback bred by me i always welcome home . From birth to eight weeks i do up a puppy photo page so that you can see the pups grow from week to week .This is a great idea when somebody is buying a puppy from Interstate and can't visit . Each puppy leaves with food for a few days all paperwork ,contracts ,vaccination cards worming and microchipping details ,breed booklett and photo's.A soft toy to play with . |
| At 4 weeks of age they venture outside in to the puppy house .I have designed this to included many and varied experiences including grass,concrete and lino .When its hot we add a puppy pool and also a shaded area which includes our puppy play gym .The pups are taken on daily romps around the grounds of the house but never left alone to roam unatttended We are very lucky to be able to offer the pups this wonderful start in life..

| My veterinarian checks each litter for health and all vaccinations and worming . All Umkimzulu puppies are checked for dermoid sinus by me and our veterinarian. Companion puppies are sent to their new homes with spay/neuter contracts.
