Ultrasonic Broadcasting Company is a very young company with dynamic and hardworking people who have managed in only four short years to make the network competitive and one to reckon with when it comes to radio broadcasting.
The network started with only one station, DWSS-AM in Manila and branched out with three FM stations, opened one per year that the network operated.
Since its operation in 1996 to the present, the network has been successful in terms of listenership ratings in that its stations in Davao and Cebu are currently number one in surveys conducted and/or commissioned by the KBP (Kapisanan Ng Mga Brodkaster Ng Pilipinas) and the RRC (Radio Research Council). In a matter of three years, UBSI managed to make its stations number one and is now working on further expanding the number of its operating stations with projections of opening two more stations by year first years of the new millenium.
Rebecca Sy is concurrently President of UBSI and Vice President for Finance for the SYSU Group of Companies and Executive Director of Lifestyles Asia Pacific Philippines.

Manny F. Luzon is General Manager of Ultrasonic Broadcasting
System, Inc. and has:
*Expanded the business from a single AM station to three
FM stations with a projection at further expansion in the year
2001 with the operation of two more FM stations
*Effected an efficient sales and marketing system that has
been able to rake in profits and has been able to establish
an-almost assured profitability for the company in the years
to come.
*Brought the provincial stations to the top of the official
surveys in a matter of months from initial operation,
through scientific programming, a feat which has not been
achieved by most broadcasting companies.
*Energy FM Cebu and Davao rose to the top of the ratings in
the first year of operation. Energy FM Naga became No. 2 in
a matter of only three months.
*Employed the right people to build a team that has been
able to provide quality productions for its listeners,
productions and projects deemed worthy by advertisers to
be sponsored and deemed worthy by an award-giving body of
merit and applause from 1996 to the present (won awards
for Best Developmental Information Plug - 2000, Best in
Radio Specials - 2000, Best Musical Variety Show - 1999,
Best Developmental Information Plug 1998.
*Provided major representation for the company in local and
international media organizations and local & international
internet-based endeavors.

Mr. Luzon was formerly Network Programming Director of
the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) and Former
Station Manager of DZMB in Metro Manila with the following achievements:
*DZMB was consistently in the top 3 perch among 25
FM stations in Metro Manila.
*DZMB was awarded several times as FM Station of the
Year by the KBP Golden Dove Awards Body and was given
awards for Best Musical Variety Show, Best Developmental
Information Plug, and Best Program Promoting Culture
and the Arts.
*Between 1990 and 1991, DZMB was voted the "Most
Outstanding Station in the Philippines" by the US-based
Pines Universal Awards. Mr. Luzon was voted by the same
body as Most Outstanding FM Station Manager.
