QUOTE: "'Oh, yes!' she laughed. 'From morning to dark I am worked. I must gather brush and kailla dung and make fires; I must cook the stews and porridges, and clean the pans and bowls; I must shake out the mats and sweep the sand in the tents; I must rub the garments and polish the boots and leather; I must do the mending and the sewing; I make ropes; I bead leather; I pound grain; I tend kailla; twice daily I milk the she kailla; I do many things; I am such worked.' Her eyes sparkled." Tribesman of Gor page 139.

The Palace Chore Board

Please study and research the chore thoroughly, before attempting it, or ask a trainer as to how to go about doing anything you are unsure. This listing is designed to prevent duplication of chores, and to see that all areas of the Palace and its grounds are well cared for and maintained, daily postings of taking food and drink to each of guard towers, and  seeing that the animals of the Palace are looked after is the responsibility of all the kajira. This is our home, each of us shall pride ourselves in a job well done.

Please reference this page and chore pages, so that you know what has been done and what still needs done for that day of the week.  Merchant chores are those that can be placed for sale in the Palace shops and bring revenue for gifts and special events for all kajira. You can join in with your sisters and  help to make a group item if you wish. There are many ways to express our creativity both as a group and individually.  Your only limit is what you place upon yourself.

Those kajira in training silks, will still be held to the training rules of posting validation of their lessons in chores. The minimum required to remain in good standing is three a week:

Post from the Palace Room scroll, including time stamp, slaves name and kolar,  3 lines per post and a minmum of three or more posts per chore.

Trainers have the responsibility of posting one chore a week and the remaining in training lessons.

Personally owned slaves will do the chores assigned by their Owner over and above the three required by the Palace.

Any Free of the Palace, first or second girls have authority to assign chores; either at their whim or for study or learning purposes and for punishment or correction.

All kajira in serving streamers have the following responsibilities on entering the palace:
  • They are to greet in correct order
  • Offer serve to each Member and Guest present.
  • Then beg to be released to attend to chores.
  • If granted will perform a minimum of one chore and return to studies if they are still in training.
  • No slave should sit idle in the Palace at anytime.
  • When a Free enters this Palace, all kajira will stop chores until  They have been greeted and offered serve.

This is Gor, and this is Role Play
